Welcome to the Computer Lab page

Here in the lab, we use computers and the internet a LOT. That's not news. It's also NOT news that we need to use the lab in a responsible way. On the right, you will see reminders about Rules for using the Computer lab, and also a reminder about Plagiarism.

Now, let's learn some stuff:

  • Connect to your Schoology account
  • Connect to your Remind 101 Group
  • Connect to your Google Classroom
  • get your computer login going
  • setup your Validation Questions
  • get your school eMail crackin'
  • Check out your OneDrive

Learn How To Sit

No, really. You need to learn how to sit. Click HERE.
Computer Lab Rules:
Every school has them, so you already know what to do, but let's review:
  1. The computers, the network, and all other school gadgets and devices are to be used for ACADEMIC Purposes Only. That means you should never be streaming music, playing videos or games, shopping or doing anything else not directly necessary for your education.

Click here for the Acceptable Use Policy that you already signed when you enrolled in the school.

With that, remember that the school owns all of the computers, the network, and even your email account here at school. That means you don't have privacy. If you are doing something wrong, you can't hide it, and the school can look at what you are doing ANY TIME. EVER. when you use school stuff.
  2. Don't go to any websites or do anything that would make your family ashamed of you. You know what I mean.
  3. Don't waste resources like electricity, paper or ink. Print on both sides of your paper if you can. Pre-View your papers before hitting the print button so you see exactly what you need to print and how many pages it will take. Maybe you only need to print page 2. Make sure you print to the correct printer. If you print to a printer in another classroom, you may not be able to go get it and then you are wasting time and paper when you have to print it again. That's just silly.
  4. Be Respectful and Courteous. You have to give it to get it, and I think we'd all rather be treated with dignity - don't you?

What is Plagiarism, anyway?
What does that mean? and is that the same as copyright infringement?
